About Renova
Renova is owned by ten municipalities in western Sweden. Their mission is to, together with their owners, take long-term responsibility when it comes to recycling and waste. They must deliver commercial social benefit and actively contribute to long-term sustainable development in their owner's region. They work with advice and training, collection, transport and environmentally correct treatment of waste and recycling materials. They also perform service services for property owners and the construction industry.
The group consists of two companies: Renova AB, which carries out the municipalities' directly assigned tasks, and Renova Miljö AB, which operates in the competitive market. The group has a turnover of approx. SEK 1.5 billion and has approx. 780 employees. Their owner municipalities are: Ale, Gothenburg, Härryda, Kungälv, Lerum, Mölndal, Partille, Tjörn, Stenungsund and Öckerö.
