Four companies unite to create a leading Nordic end-to-end provider of ERP, business systems and business-driven AI
Sherpas, Devisum, KR System and Netropolis are joining forces to form Serpentin, with Valedo Partners as the new majority owner. This initiative marks the beginning of a new growth phase for four of Sweden’s most established specialists in ERP and business systems, with the shared ambition of becoming the leading end-to-end provider in the Nordic region.
A merger that strengthens customers
The merger represents a natural next step in each company’s growth journey. For many years, all four companies have been key players in ERP and business systems, including operations, cloud services and business-critical solutions. The formation of Serpentin not only strengthens customers’ ERP and business systems, but also lays the foundation for data-driven ways of working and the practical application of AI.
Customers will retain the same teams and points of contact as before, ensuring continuity and strong local relationships, while benefiting from greater resources, broader expertise and a more scalable organization. All previous owners will continue in both operational roles and as shareholders, ensuring continuity and a shared long-term commitment to the future being built. As part of the merger, all employees are also being offered ownership in the new group, further strengthening culture, accountability and long-term focus.
The driving forces behind the merger
Serpentin is the first company in Sweden to bring together leading specialist expertise in Pyramid, Business Central, and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations under one roof. This enables the group to support customers throughout their entire ERP journey – regardless of whether their business needs to scale, change or simplify. The model has already been applied in practice and is now being scaled within a unified organization, well positioned to meet the growing demand for a Nordic end-to-end provider that combines strong local presence with deep specialist expertise.
Valedo – a strong partner for growth
As majority owner, Valedo contributes capital, experience and strategic support, enabling Serpentin to accelerate growth in a sustainable manner. Together, the group will invest in AI, talent and capacity, develop joint and packaged offerings, and grow both organically and through strategic acquisitions. The ambition is to establish a presence across the Nordic region to become even closer to customers.
Employees at the center
A core principle behind the merger is the firm belief that employees are the most important asset. All four companies share a long-standing commitment to culture defined by engagement, professional development and strong customer focus.
“By bringing our four companies together, we are taking a natural and important step in our development. We are now building a unified organization with a unique combination of deep specialist expertise, strong local presence and a high level of innovation. Together, we can offer a complete ecosystem,” says Mats Stenlund, CEO of Sherpas.
“Our focus is on creating real value for customers. That means not only delivering world-class technology, but also ensuring that it works in people’s everyday lives. Our goal is to make technology usable, relevant and closely aligned with business needs. This is not about experimentation, but about solutions that simplify daily operations, improve decision-making and free up time within organizations.
The engagement, expertise and close customer relationships of our employees are what make this initiative possible. Now we are taking the next step together – and we will be strongest in times of change, which is a constant in our industry,” Mats concludes.
